Port Blair, Aug. 30: Five positive cases have been detected today in A&N Islands, of which, 2 were from incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday.Today, 8flights with 1023passengers arrived, out of which, 907passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on71passengers and the reports are awaited.
During RAT conducted on 10 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 23 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. RAT was conducted on 10passengers at Mohanpura Bus Terminus, no positive case has been detected.
