Port Blair, Aug 29: GSSS Swarajgram celebrated National Sports Day on 29th August 2022 with various events on the day. The programme commenced with a Road Race competition for Boys and Girls starting from Milangram to GSSS Swarajgram. Altogether 60 students participated in the race.
In the Boys category Roshan Das stood First, Sujit Das stood Second and Suraj Sarkar got the third prize. In the Girls category Sanjana Dey, Sneha Biswas and Priyanka Paul won first, second and third positions respectively.
A Sports Quiz was also conducted in which Ruhi Roy and Nitish Bain of Narcondam House won the competition. An Inter-Carrom Tournament was also organized during the event and altogether 170 students participated in all of these activities.
