Port Blair, Aug. 17: The Department of Sports & Youth Affairs and Department of Education will be jointly organizing various events on the occasion of National Sports Day 2022 observed to mark the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand (Hockey Wizard) on 29th August, 2022. Veteran sports persons and sportsperson of the year 2021-2022 will be honored. A week long programme will be organized during which various sports activities will be conducted.
