Port Blair, July 20: A Monsoon Beach festival is scheduled to be organized by the Middle Andaman Forest Division on 23rd& 24th July 2022 at Raman Bagicha Beach, Nimbutala, Rangat. The monsoon festival will start on 23/07/2022 at Dhaninallah beach with ceremonial planting at 8.00AM followed by Drawing & Painting competition for school students at 9.00AM. A plethora of event have been planned to be carried out during the festival under which dance competition (Group & Solo) & Singing competition (Male & Female) shall be organized for the general public. Apart from this various events & competition involving the school students have also been planned during the festival. As a part of beach festival beach sports such as Beach volleyball & Tug of war will also be organized which will be followed by a cultural night for the entertainment of the public at Raman Bagicha, Nimbutala.
The other Govt. departments like Revenue, Agriculture, Health & Industries are also participating in the festival in which all the department will be putting up stalls for displaying various welfare schemes/programmes being initiated & run by them for the welfare of the public & development of area. Further among the departmental stalls the best stall will be selected & declared as winner on the final day of the festival. Similarly prize distribution to the winners of all the competition (Singing, Dancing, Sports etc.) held during the festival will be done on the final day of the festival.
