Port Blair, Jul 14: On the Occasion of 73rd Van Mahotsava, 2022, the Middle Andaman Forest Division, Rangat will organize a Photography Competition on the Topic “Nurturing Nature” and “Eco-Tourism initiatives of Middle Andaman”. The Competition is open to all residents of the A&N Islands. The participant can submit a maximum of 02 (two) photographs of size Minimum of 01 MB, with the information viz; Name, Address Date/period of capturing the photograph(s), Details of the camera/mobile, contact number separately. The participants should Email the photographs in JPEG format on or before 25th July 2021 to 72vanma@gmail.com.
Each entry must comply with the following terms and Conditions: 1. All photo(s) must be original, created and/or taken by the participant. The person submitting also confirms that the photo does not contain any material owned or controlled by a third party and does infringe on the privacy rights, copyrights, or any others’ rights of any person. No watermark or borders of any kind should be on the photograph(s); 2. The photograph(s) must be of a minimum of 1024 X 768 Pixels; 3. The panel of Judges reserves the right to call for original JPEG or RAW files for the purpose of authentication. An image may not be honoured if the original photos are not made available on demand; 4. Basic editing, including color enhancement, the use of filter and cropping of the photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity/ genuineness of the photo(s); 5. Advanced editing is used to create illusions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited; 6. Photo(s) that portray or otherwise include offensive/adult content including violence, environmental violation, human rights violation, or any other content deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural and moral traditions and practices of India is strictly prohibited and will be rejected; 7. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that no harm of any nature has been inflicted on any life form during photography and 8. The Photos submitted for the competition, the rights to use the photograph for any awareness creation/Public interest vest with the department with due credit to the photographer.
