Port Blair, Jul 14: The PS Pahargaon team arrested a 27-year-old youth, r/o 24 Parganas, West Bengal presently residing at Kamraj Nagar on 14th July 2022 under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) for having a physical relationship with a 14-year-old minor girl in South Andaman region.
It was learned that the family members of the minor girl recently saw her with the 27-year-old youth with vermilion on her forehead. When enquired they said that they are going to get married. Soon the matter was reported to the nearby Police Station.
According to the police investigation, the victim revealed that she was in a relationship with the accused. A POSCO case was registered and the accused was arrested regarding this matter.
