Port Blair, Jul 11: Pankh NGO Andaman organized a 03-day recreational programme in the presence of Mrs. Komal Anand, Founder President, Pankh NGO, Mrs. Shreelata and Mrs. Sonia Girdhar, members with Swami Shudhanand, Chinmaya Mission, for the orphan kids and also special children who can’t come out of their house.
On the first day, Pankh NGO took the children of Pranab Kanya Sangh Ashram for an outing followed by a cultural programme and dinner. On the second day, they visited the children at Balika Niketan to replenish and update their stationary banks according to the requirements of the children.
On the third day, Pankh NGO approached those needy families who live in the outskirts with their children who can’t come out who are Divyaang and specially-abled and tried to fulfill their necessities.
“ZillaPrashashanAapkeDwaar” campaign by A&N Admin at Hopetown
Port Blair, Jul 11: In continuation of the “ZillaPrashashanAapkeDwaar” campaign held on 02nd July 2022 at Panchayat Bhavan, Hopetown under the chairmanship of Mr. JitendraNarain, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration along with all senior officers and HOD’s of various department.
As desired by the Chief Secretary departments like the Directorate of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Social Welfare, Fisheries, AH&VS, Health and Industries organized various awareness programmes for the benefit of the rural populace under Gram Panchayat Hopetown.
In this connection, the Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs organized an Aadhar camp from 04th July 2022 to 08th July 2022 at Gram Panchayat, Hope Town which benefitted the people especially the old age person, small children and specially-abled people. A total of 164 Aadhar seeding was done which include 139 updations and 25 new Aadharenrollment was also done.
Ms. V.K Mariyam Bibi, ZillaParishad member, Bambooflatconstituency, Mrs. Rashida Bibi, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Hopetown praised the A&N Administration and expressed gratitude towards Mr. JitendraNarain IAS, Chief Secretary, A&N Island, Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Secretary (RD/Panchayat) and other Senior Officers of A&N Administration.
