Port Blair, Jul 08: State Control Room, Directorate of Disaster Management, A&N Administration issued a Weather warning over the A&N Islands received from IMD Kolkata.
It is informed that on 09th to 11th July 2022, Heavy Rain (7-11 cm) with thunderstorm and lightening with wind speed (40-50 kmph) is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands.
On 12th July 2022, Heavy Rain (7-11 cm) with thunderstorm and lightening with wind speed (30-40 kmph) is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands.
Due to squally weather with wind speed exceeding 45 kmph likely to prevail over Andaman Sea and A&N Islands coasts, Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along and off Andaman & Nicobar coast from 09th to 12th July 2022.
