Port Blair, Jun 03: A delegation of Andaman Association of Tour Operators led by its President Mr. M. Vinod is attending a 03-day long Tourism Fair, and travel exhibition at Kolkata, from 03rd to 05th June 2022.
Tourism Fair and travel exhibition is attended by Stakeholders of Various States along with stakeholders from Bengal. AATO members are attending the exhibition as part of the India Tourism delegation and also through individual stalls of AATO.
As per Mr. Vinod, Tourism Fair provides huge potential for tourism stakeholders from these islands to showcase Andaman as an important destination.
Tourism is the largest industry in Andamans and provides employment to a large section of the island population. AATO has been participating in travel exhibitions and events and promoting Andamans as a world-class destination for the last 17 years.
Mr. M. Vinod has thanked India Tourism, Ministry of Tourism Kolkata, Regional Office, for providing Space to AATO, in the India Tourism Pavilion at Tourism Fair, Kolkata. This will prove to be a boost for Andaman tourism post-COVID and the upcoming tourist season.
