Port Blair, Nov 23: The team of Police Station Aberdeen has arrested nine gamblers from Junglighat area of Port Blair, early this morning. According to reports the arrest were made after a raid conducted by a PS Aberdeen team, headed by SHO PS Aberdeen, Mr. Stalin NS and consisting of ASI Dilla Rao, HC Paresh, Raja, Sanjay, Constable Horo, Imran, Ashish Rakesh, Hanifa, Sartaz, Shekhar, Nedun Chezian, Pradeep, Sujeet and Nityanand.
The team seized Rs. 27,050 cash amount and a ground money of Rs. 1.41 Lakhs.
In another case, another team of PS Aberdeen have arrested three persons for bootlegging and recovered 11, 750 ml bottles and 37, 375 ml bottles of liquor. The raid was conducted at School line and Ranchi Tekry areas.
