Port Blair, Apr 19: On 18/04/2022, a credible information was received that 02 persons were carrying venison near Coconut Plantation, Collinpur. Upon this information, a team comprising of ASI Muthukannan along with PC Sasi Kumar Das apprehended two persons who were carrying white coloured plastic bag. The Police team checked the bag and recovered suspected venison weighing about 35 kgs (approximately) and a machete from their possession. The details of the persons are 1. Kamal Roy S/o Shri Kartick Roy (30) yrs R/o Collinpur and 2. Pritam Singh S/ Shri. Kalu Singh (31) yrs R/o Manpur. Both the persons were detained and brought to PS Ograbraj. Later on, the detained persons alongwith the seized articles were handed over to Forest Department.
