Port Blair, Apr 17: Andaman Sangeet Academy (ASA) Junglighat, Port Blair, celebrated the “1 La Baishakh 1429” on 15th April 2022. The programme was arranged near Satellite Colony, New Pahadgoan, Port Blair. Mr. Tapas Kuma Das, President of the Academy was the Chief Guest in this cultural programme. The Function was started with a welcome speech by Mrs. Supriya Dutta, Executive member of ASA.
The members of the ASA sang the opening song “Esho He Baishakh”. After that students and others presented a colourful musical evening in front of the gathering. Mr. Tapas Kuma Das gave a speech to the audience and a dinner party for the gathering was also provided by the ASA.
The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Soumen Home Chowdhury, General Secretary, ASA, Junglighat, Port Blair.
