Port Blair, Apr 08: Dr. Subash Sarkar, Minister of State for Education, GoI visited DBRAIT on 08th April 2022 and interacted with the faculty.
He has also seen the various initiatives taken by the institute, related to the environment; catching the rain, and all the best schemes of GoI. He later interacted with the students.
During the interaction with the faculty, he emphasized the need of implementing NEP in totality so that the island can get benefitted. During the interaction with the students, he sensitized them to the need for innovation and to become an entrepreneur.
He also advised the students to think seriously about contributing to society when they pass out and take up the job and earn sufficient money. The Minister appreciated the college management and the Administration for taking the very initiative regarding environment and water conservancy which will go a long way in making the institute self-sufficient concerning water.
