Port Blair, Apr 05: In an effort to make PBMC among the top-ranked Municipal body the Chairperson along with the Secretary of PBMC and Officials visited Ward No. 19 and 24 on 02nd April 2022.
As per the demands of existing shopkeepers and the opinion of public representatives Secretary, PBMC assured the construction of a Modern Fish Vending Centre at Bhatu Basti market.
He also directed the officials to explore the possibility to materialize the scope with the assistance of the Fisheries Department.
Since delimitation, the demand for a new administrative setup has arisen. Secretary, PBMC also directed the officials to make necessary arrangements such as office set up and PBMC’s Citizens Center and stress on cleanliness was given to the General public to keep the city clean and hygienic.
Further the Civic chief and Secretary, PBMC appealed to the general public to participate in the Swachhta Survekshan 2022.
