Port Blair, Apr 01: The Secretary of PBMC along with the Superintending Engineer and other officials of PBMC visited the Junglighat Burning Ghat and Khaitan Kalyan Mandapam on 01st April 2022.
They directed to clean and remediate the water body inside the Burning Ghat which is widely used for rituals and to provide hassle-free entry and exit gate in order to have free traffic movement of the visitors.
The Secretary urged to complete the pending works of Khaitan Kalyana Mandapam in a time-bound manner for its utilization by the general public. He insisted to keep the drains and roadside berms of the city clean and tidy to maintain the city’s aesthetics.
