Port Blair, Mar 02: Two senior leaders of BharatiyaJanata Party Mr. SujaySamadder and Mr. Omio Biswas have switched over to Congress in Rangat on 28th February 2022 in the presence of Mr. KuldeepRai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Mr. John Robert, Chairman of Minority Department, Mr. D. Kandaswamy, President, Rangat BCC, Mr. DipankarSamadder, General Secretary, Rangat BCC and several other Congress leaders.
Mr. Sharma said that the people of A&N Islands are firmly standing with Congress and the leaders are joining Congress as they are inspired by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.
He welcomed both newly inducted leaders into the party’s fold and asserted that they will strengthen the party.
