Port Blair, Feb 15: The Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad Andaman unit organized a “STUDENTS PROTEST” against the recent arrest of ABVP National General Secretary, Nidhi Tripathi at Tamil Nadu.
ABVP Andaman demanded Justice for Lavanya, a 17 year old girl who committed suicide due to alleged forced conversion by her school.
During the protest, activists burned a dummy symbolizing the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. K Stalin.
Mr. Siddhanth Rai Sharma in his keynote address demanded CBI Inquiry for Lavanya. He mentioned that today’s youth will never accept such forceful conversion and further making the issue relevant he referred to the mass conversion of Ranchi Community & Tribal peoples of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The issue of Justice for Lavanya is widely becoming the center of attraction throughout the Nation. ABVP is continuously protesting demand justice for Lavanya in different parts of the country.
