Port Blair, Feb 03: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President Mr. Rangalal Halder on Thursday wrote a letter to the Chief General Manager, BSNL and requested him to install a BSNL Tower at Parangara Village, Kishori Nagar Panchayat, Diglipur .
In the letter, Mr. Halder highlighted the CGM about the plight of Parangara villagers. He said that, there is no network facility in the village since past 30 years.
He mentioned that, the worst affected of this issue are the student community as they cannot access to online education. Moreover, the youths are unable to apply online for government exams.
He mentioned that, the villagers have never used mobile and internet even in this modern era.
Hence, he requested the CGM, BSNL to look into the serious dilemma of Parangara villagers and install a BSNL tower at the village on urgent basis.
