Port Blair, Nov 19: In Generally Common people known the Mechanized farming means utilization of Tractors and power tillers but actually only using of these few instruments does not mean only mechanized farming!
In Mechanized farming varieties of new instrument, tool and mechanical approaches are used in agricultural field. But the people of rural areas alike North & Middle Andaman is not fully aware about that part.
Therefore, the Agriculture Department at Nimbudera Agricultaral farm has brought some new machines to utilize in agricultural field for the awakening of the people of these area.
In Nimbudera Agricultural firm a new Paddy Harvesting machine has been introduced for Cutting Paddy in mechanized ways which save time and money. Besides, this Paddy Transplantation Machine has already been introduced in the firm.
When it was asked to the In-charge of the Firm that whether the machine is only for the utilization of this Firm, he informed that the machine is brought here for the firm.
He further said, recently 1-2 demonstration has been done to aware the common cultivators. If any peasant wants to have these machines the Agriculture Department is ready to help all those interested Farmers. He said that if any Unemployed would have it he will able find his earning.
The Agriculture Department Expressed that if any Panchayat want to make any Demonstration of these machines they will must make demonstration so that people could know and learn about the feature of the Machines. Obviously , these machines are very time effective and economical as well as it saves the time. Hope it will create a new inspiration among the farmers.
