Port Blair, Jan 30: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee on Friday welcomed the announcement of the poll schedule for Municipal and Panchayat elections in Andaman & Nicobar Islands by the Election Commission of India.
The ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder has expressed confidence that his party will win maximum seats in Municipal and Panchayat wards with big margins.
He said that the people of A&N Islands will give the Congress Party an opportunity to serve them again and appealed to the people of these Islands to elect a local body that contributes to the progress of these Islands.
