Port Blair, Dec 20: The Daily Newspaper Association (proposed) strongly condemns attack on media personnel and camera crew of News Apptak at Port Blair by IRBn Jawans, A&N Police. Physical assault and verbal abuses that too in presence of senior officers of A & N Police is unacceptable.
Unruly behaviour of a few staffs has brought a bad name for the entire Police Department.
DNA demands stringent disciplinary action against the IRBn Jawan, who has attacked and physically assaulted media persons today.
