Port Blair, Dec 19: The State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Shri Ajoy Bairagi has written a letter to Mananiya Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of Civil Aviation. In his letter, he highlighted all issues and hardship faced by the general public and tourists of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. In his letter he has highlighted the points of exorbitant and unaffordable fare which is also hampering the tourism in Islands. He also mentioned that reason for such high fare is due to restrictions in flight frequencies which was 27 flights per day before and now it is only 12 flights per day post covid. With almost 100 % Completely vaccinated status of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr Ajoy Bairagi sough the intervention of Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Mr Jyotiraditya Scindia in this issue.
