Port Blair, Dec 15: The Haj Committee of India, Mumbai vide their Circular No. 04 dated 14th December, 2021 has cancelled the restriction of upper age limit for the Haj 1443(H) -2022(C.E.) to facilitate the elderly intending pilgrims to make online application for Haj-2022.
Subsequently, the pilgrims above the earlier notified age limit of 65 years are now eligible to submit online application(s) including those above the age of 70+ years. Further the 70+ intending pilgrims shall be registered under Reserved Category.
For further information, the Haj pilgrims can contact Office of the Chairman, A&N Islands UT Haj Committee, functioning in the second floor room No. 310 of the Directorate of Social Welfare Building at Goalghar, during office hours. The last date for online submission of Haj Application Form is 31st January, 2022.
