Port Blair, Dec 14: The President of ANTCC has submitted a memorandum to the Home Minister Mr Amit Shah wherein he has highlighted various issues being faced by the Islanders. The most important issues of 100% job for islander, filling-up of vacant posts in the government sector, completion of NH road, age relaxation, etc. were raised by Mr Rangalal Halder.
Mr Rangalal Halder has also submitted a set of demands to the Lieutenant Governor of Andaman &Nicobar Island which includes 100% job reservation, filling up the vacancies ,completion of NH Road, one time age relaxation , immediate conducting of PRI & PBMC E election. The President gave a time frame of one month to resolve these issues failing which the Congress Party will sit on HUNGER STRIKE till the issues are resolved.
He has also appealed to the youth to take part in the signature campaign for 100% job reservation for islanders.
