Port Blair, Nov 27: As part of chess for everyone program, the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) organized first ever Simul at Rangat on Friday at Zilla Parishad Hall, Rangat to promote the game of chess at the grassroot level . Around 30 players took part in the event. The players of Rangat were thrilled to play Simul with the chess trainers and officials of ANCA who arrived Rangat in connection with conduct of the District Level Open Chess Tournament at Diglipur on Nov 28. ANCA also distributed chess sets for further promotion of the game at Rangat. The event was well coordinated by S Elavarasan, Teacher from DEO Rangat.
