Port Blair, Nov 12: Heaps of garbage dumped near UHC, ward No.2, Haddo, Port Blair has been left unattended. The garbage mainly includes plastic waste. The residents said that the Municipal workers have been neglecting the garbage, and it is required to be cleaned. Moreover, people from different areas also dump their garbage and leave.
There is an unpleasant smell the whole day and residents here suffer while passing through it. PBMC dustbin near Govt. dispensary which is a serious threat for the patients and pregnant women passing from the side. Residents of ward No.2 requested the secretary of PBMC to intervene in this matter and relocate the PBMC dustbin to another place.
