Port Blair, Nov 07: The District Administration held a Revenue Camp Court with the theme “Zilla Prashasan Aapke Dwar” at Beodnabad panchayat. Shri Suneel Anchipaka, DC(SA) chaired the event along with Sub Divisional Magistrate (SA) and Assistant Commissioner (U/T). The Officials of line departments such as Electricity, Medical, APWD and Rural Development were also present during the camp.
The Camp was well attended by the general public of the village and raised various pertaining to the Revenue Dept. and other line departments. The DC (SA)gave a patient hearing of all their grievances and assured them of its early disposal. He gave on the spot directions to the Tehsildar and officers of other line department to take up the issues concerning them and to dispose themat the earliest.
Further the DC(SA), SDM(SA) and AC (U/T) planted fruit bearing tree saplings in the premises of Gram panchayat Beodnabad. The Ex-PRI members and the general public thanked the District Administration for organising such revenue camp at the grass root level and its efforts to address the core issues.
The DC(SA) asked the Revenue field staffsto follow up on all the matters those were placed before the Revenue Camp Court.The DC(SA) assured the gathering that the District Administration is committed to the overall development of the Panchayat and asked to the public to feel free to reach out to his office for their genuine grievances.
