Port Blair, Sept 30: The Town Vending Committee (TVC), Port Blair Municipal Council is hereby informs the registered street Vendors of Port Blair City to comply with the provisions contained under the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulations of Street Vending) Act, 2014 and also to warn the unauthorized street vendors at NO VENDING ZONES and without possession of Certificate of Vending to refrain from unauthorized vending activity in violation the provisions of the Street Vendors Act.
In order to comply the Act in real letter and spirit, the following penalty / fine amount for various violation will be levied on the violating street vendors in purview of the Act.

4 Vending with other persons/letting the space to others (other than his/her family members) Rs. 1,000 /-
4 Not up-keeping public health and hygiene. Rs. 500 /-
5 Non-compliance of other instructions of the CoV/ instructions of Town Vending Committee
Rs. 500 /-
