Port Blair, Sept 24: In a small event Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi with Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (Ttrakshika) distributed Health & Ration kits to 25 Single Mothers.
Mrs Savita Raja Putran, President Tatrakshika along with Mrs Gayatri Manish Kumar, Outreach Coordinator, Tatrakshika took an initiative to help single mother of the islands and contacted Mr. Mandeep Grewal, President, PBGKR.
All single mothers were handed over Ration items for one month along with Health drinks and other items.
Mr. Grewal thanked Mrs Savita Raja Putran, President, Tatrakshika for taking a noble initiative and to think about the islanders and also briefed her the details about how hard had the pandemic had hit the islanders.
