Port Blair, Nov 07: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament met Lt. Governor, Lt Gen (Retd) Bhopinder Singh, PVSM, AVSM in Raj Niwas and raised issues relating to rural roads in different areas.
He also raised matter regarding non payment of arrears to the workers of Andaman Timber Industries and delay in forest clearance for construction of road in Shoal Bay.
The Member of Parliament also mentioned about inadequate water pipelines in Shore Point. Lt. Governor assured the MP that these points will be examined in the administration expeditiously for redressal of the issues raised by MP.
