Port Blair, Jan 31: The Bharatiya Janta Party today demanded Introduction of Science, commerce, Computer streams with English medium of study in the schools of Kamorta area.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary of A & N Administration, the President of BJP’s A & N State Unit, Mr. R Mohan today said that due to non availability of the above streams in the schools of Kamorta area, the students are facing acute problem to choose their streams according to their wish and compelled to either study with Arts subjects or to come to Port Blair. Further to it, no English medium school is running there which is also irking the students.
Mohan requested the CS to look into the matter personally so that the students of Kamorta area also get vast scope of education as per their choice.
