Port Blair, Sept 07: With an aim to ensure forward linkage for the Daily Dry waste collection carried out by the Gram Panchayats, the Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, A & N Administration, Port Blair, has floated an online Expression of Interest (EOI) in two bid format from reputed, experienced and financially sound companies/firm/agencies for the collection, management and transportation of Solid Waste from the Clusters of North & Middle Andaman District to mainland for management of Waste in the Rural areas of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The accepted recyclers shall be required to collect waste from the SWM Clusters situated at Nilambur, Kadamtala, Rangat, Shivapuram, Basantipur, Pahalgaon, Rampur, Pahalgaon, Kishorinagar, Madhupur, Keralapuram in the North & Middle Andaman District and transport it to the mainland/processing units through authorized agencies.
The details and scope of work, terms and conditions etc. are laid down in the tender document, uploaded in the e-procurement portal https://eprocure.andaman.gov.in. The last date for submission of bids is 22.09.2021.
