Port Blair, Aug 29: The Executive Committee and Governing Body meeting of the District Health Society, South Andaman was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Shri Suneel Anchipaka, wherein the approved budget / Records of the proceedings for Financial Year 2021-22 and its expenditure on the vertical programmes was discussed.
The DC (SA)/ Chairman, DHS(SA) directed to implement the approved activities in a time bound manner. He further focused on the current requirements of the health centres and instructed to disburse the funds to Rogi Kalayan Samities of Health Centres as per their requirements. He also emphasized that the proposal for Mobile Unit for Elderly bed ridden patients has to be initiated at the earliest in the District. He further directed the concerned to submit the Utilization Certificate well in timefor release of balance funds from State Unit.
It was decided that RogiKalayanSamities may conduct their respective Executive Committee & Governing Body meeting by next week to identify the priorities of their work and accordingly utilize the allocated funds.
