I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of these islands, especially to my sisters and brothers of Kerala, on the auspicious occasion of Onam.

May the melody and sparkle of Onam fill our minds with the joy of festivity. Let Onam also be a celebration of our love and oneness which enabled us to overcome adversities with fortitude
In the times of the COVID-19 pandemic, while celebrating festivals, we must take care of people from the weaker sections of our Islands and take adequate measures to protect and safeguard our families and society at large.
May this joyous festival usher in a new era of peace, prosperity and happiness in our Islands.
