Port Blair, Aug 13: In the series of events of the ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ celebrations in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Victory Flame was displayed at Birchgunj Military Station on 13 Aug21 for the troops and families of the Army Component.
A war gallery and an audio-visual display depicting the gallant saga of the Indian Armed Forces during the 1971 War was organised for all ranks and families where the event motivated and instilled a sense of pride amongst all.
A souvenir shop consisting of ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ collectibles was also setup for the personnel as a chance to become inseparable part of this historic journey of pious Victory Flame. The event saw participation with great fervour and enthusiasm from all ranks, families and especially children of the component. All COVID-19 protocol measures were followed by the personnel present at the event.
