Port Blair, July 08: On the Occasion of 72nd Van Mahotsava 2021, the Middle Andaman Forest Division, Rangat, is organizing a Photography Competition on the Topic “Importance of Forest & Water Conservation-Need of the Hour”. The Competition is open to all residents of A & N Islands. The participant shall submit maximum of two photographs of size Minimum 01 MB, with the information viz; Name, Address Date/period of capturing the photograph(s), Details of the camera/mobile, contact number separately. The participants should Email the photographs in JPEG Format on or before 23rd July, 2021 to 72vanma@gmail.com.
Each entry must comply with the following terms and Condition:
• All photo(s) must be original, created and/or taken by the participant. The person submitting also confirms that the photo does not contain any material owned or controlled by a third party and does infringe on the privacy rights, copy rights or any others rights of any person. No watermark, borders of any kind should be on the photograph(s).
• The photograph(s) must be of Minimum 1024 X 768 Pixels.
• The panel of Judges reserve the right to call for Original JPEG or RAW files for the purpose of authentication. An image may not be honoured if the original photos are not made available on demand.
• Basic editing, including color enhancement, the use of filter and cropping of photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity/ genuineness of the photo(s).
• Advanced editing used to create illusions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.
• Photo(s) that portray or otherwise include offensive/adult content including violence, environmental violation, human rights violation or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural and moral traditions and practices of India are strictly prohibited and will be rejected.
• It is the responsibility of each participants to ensure that no harm of any nature has been inflicted to any life form during photography.
• The Photos submitted for the competition, the rights to use the photograph for any awareness creation/Public interest vest with the department with due credit to the photographer.
