Port Blair, July 02: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, has requested the Lt. Governor to consider granting extension to Guest faculties of JNRM for the academic session 2021.
There are altogether 90 Nos. Guest faculties working under the aegis of JNRM College whose extension orders are yet to be issued.
In this critical situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been an immense stress on the Guest faculties and they are too finding it difficult to meet the essential needs of their families.
MP requested the Lt. Governor to kindly consider their case on humanitarian grounds for the extension of the Guest faculties to save them from burgeoning financial hardship in this pandemic time.
