Port Blair, Oct 31: The Pradesh Congress Committee, President, Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Lt Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands to reintroduce the previous system of examination of Navodaya Vidyalaya at various schools of Diglipur so that a large number of students may try their luck for getting admission in the school.
In a letter addressed to the Lt Governor Mr Sharma stated that the present system of conducting Navodaya School entrance examination at Panchawati station only has given adverse effect since all the aspirants are unable to go to Panchawati to appear for the examination due to financial problems and others.
“The students and their parents feel themselves hapless which need immediate consideration,” Mr Sharma added.
Further Mr Sharma also requested to introduce Commerce stream at Swarajgram Govt Sr Sec School, so that the aspirants may fulfil their desire to be educated in Commerce stream.
