Port Blair, Jun 29: Mr. M Vinod, President of Andaman Association of Tour Operators expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister of India and Minister of Finance for stimulus extended to the tourism industry.
On behalf of the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, he expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the selfless service for the people of India.
“The tourism industry is beleaguered by the Covid-19 pandemic, not once but twice, leaving lasting ramifications for all segments alike. Amid this once in a century catastrophe, the aid in the form of stimulus announced for the tourism industry by the Honorable Finance Minister is welcomed by all stakeholders of the industry and we express our sincere gratitude to your esteemed self and the Honorable Finance Minister for heeding to the plight of the tourism stakeholders. The measures announced shall enable countless travel related stakeholders to revive and thrive in the days to come,” Mr. Vinod added.
