Port Blair, June 06: On 05/06/2021, the PS Humfrigunj organized a tree sapling plantation programme on the occasion of World Environment Day at the Police Station Humfrigunj premises and at Wandoor village.
In the programme, more than 15 saplings were planted at the surrounding of Police Station and much more than 25 saplings were planted at the vacant land of Mr. Kiranlal R/o- Wandoor with collaborating the assistance of local youths by maintaining COVID appropriate behaviour.
Through such programme, the police personnel of Police Station Humfrigunj and the youth of Wandoor motivated public to plant trees.
