One Incoming Passenger Arrested with 5.5 KG of Ganja from ITF Ground

Port Blair, May 31: Following credible information that one person is coming to Port Blair from Chennai in a fight with huge amount of Ganja, a joint team of PS Chatham and PS Aberdeen was formed headed by SI Shubham Ghosh & SI Mazumder respectively.
The team soon reached ITF Ground and checked the belonging of the passenger, Mr. Ganesh Baag, a resident of Chennai and seized 5.5 KG of Ganja.
The operation was carried out under the leadership of SDPO, South Andaman, ASP Kalaivanan R under overall supervision of Mr. Ravi Kumar, SP SA.
It is believed that more arrests are possible in this case as Mr. Ganesh is working for a Ganja Racket in Andaman.
