Port Blair, Apr 12: An infant baby of Jarawa Tribal Community died yesterday at G B Pant Hospital, following some health complications.
As per details, the baby boy was admitted at PHC Kadamtala on 9th April 2021 following some health issues after which the baby was referred to G B Pant Hospital for specialized treatment. He was brought to G B Pant Hospital on 10th April and was admitted in Tribal Block.
Yesterday morning following some complications the baby died. Although doctors have written for Post Mortem but the parents of the baby are against Post Mortem, it is learnt. When contacted a top officer of Tribal Welfare was not able to provide more details in this case. Further details are awaited.
