Port Blair, Feb 02: A police team of Hut Bay seized nearly 110 KG of venison from a dinghy at Pather Nallah Area of Little Andaman and detained four people, in this regard.
As per details on 31 January 2021, during regular patrolling at Pather Nallah area of Little Andaman a police team spotted a suspicious dinghy. While checking, the police team found nearly 110 KG of venison, along with 6 deer livers. Immediately the police team detained all four people, present onboard the dinghy, who claimed to be coming from Port Blair Wandoor Jetty.
All accused persons were taken to police station and later were handed over to Forest Department.
