Port Blair, Dec 24: The District Administration will be conducting a Job Mela at ITF Ground in coordination with Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry on 26th and 27th December, 2020 from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM. More than 900 vacancies in various categories are likely to be filled up in the Mela. Various sectors like Construction, Pharmacy, Automobile, Grocery, Tourism, Shipping and Textile business have come forward to offer jobs in different fields of Skilled/Unskilled workers, Heavy/Light Vehicle Drivers, Electrician, Plumber, Mechanic, Welder, Painter, Technician, Salesman/Saleswomen, Carpenter, MTS, Accountant, Supervisor, Surveyor, Engineers, Project Managers, etc.
The Mela will provide an opportunity to the skilled/unskilled and educated unemployed youths in these islands to earn a livelihood. All are requested to come forward and avail the opportunity being offered to them in this Mela by strictly following the Covid-19 protocol.
Interested candidates may walk in with their resume along with copies of their testimonials and approach the Information Counter from where they will be directed to the concerned desk for interview and also as far as possible, offer of appointment will also be issued to the selected candidates.
