Port Blair, Dec 04: On 03/12/2020 information was received to Inspector Mohd. Elias, In-charge, PS Central Crime Station that contraband are kept in possession of one Hasan Aslam R/o Mazar Pahad, which was conveyed to Senior Officers and on the direction of Mr. Jagdev Singh Yadav DANIPS, Dy.SP (CID), raiding team comprising ASI Vijay Shankar, Constable P. K Mondal, Rajendran, Imran and Raja Rao of PS CCS was constituted and sent to Phoenix Bay for carrying out the raid in a highly professional and well planned way. The raiding team recovered around 670 grams of Ganja from the possession of Hasan Aslam. The recovered Ganja was seized on the spot and accused Hasan Aslam S/o Mr. M. Kasim R/o Mazar Pahar was arrested under NDPS Act. The raid was headed by Sh. Jagdev Singh Yadav, DANIPS, Dy.SP (CID) and under the close supervision of Sh. Anant Mittal, IPS, SP(CID).
