Port Blair, Nov 29: Following Andaman Sheekha report about problems being faced by hundreds of ATR passengers everyday at Rapid Antigen Testing Site for Covid-19 at Ferrargunj Check Post, Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman immediately sent a team of officials to the site and constructed a make-shift shed at next to the COVID-19 testing site.
The shed is now widely used by the ATR Passengers as it provides shelter from both rain and shine.
ATR passengers have lauded the quick action of Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman, which has brought some relief for the ATR passengers.
However, people have demanded similar shed on the other side of the COVID-19 testing booth and also a shed infront of Ferrargunj Panchayat building where also ATR passengers have to stand in long queue.
