Campbell Bay, Nov 19: On 13th November 2020, one pregnant lady was brought to PHC Campbell Bay with head injuries. The condition of the patient was so critical in late night hours that a medical rescue by air was planned.
As per details, because of profuse bleeding and head injury of patient, the blood pressure was continuously falling and she was losing her consciousness.
By seeing her critical condition the medical team of PHC Campbell Bay, headed by Dr. Johnson Sameer, SMO, with another doctor Dr. Ismiti Singh MO, decided to conduct a minor surgery as the patient was getting more critical by every passing minute and her conscious level was also dropping.
The medical team used all available resources and medication to stabilize the patient and just because of the dedicated efforts and hard work of medical team, they managed to stabilize the patient.
Now the patient is stable and responding well, all the treatment was done in the late hours of night and mother and child, in the womb both are okay, it is reported.
When Andaman Sheekha correspondent contacted the M.O Incharge Dr. Johnson Sameer, SMO who went to PHC Campbell Bay on duty cum tour, he said that the patient could be saved because of team work and dedication of every medical staff of PHC Campbell Bay. People of Campbell Bay lauded the sincere efforts of the entire medical team.
