Port Blair, Oct 30: An anti-poaching team of Andaman and Nicobar Police today while patrolling at Jackson Creek, Little Andaman spotted two Myanmarese dinghies. On seeing police team, the poachers tried to escape from the spot in one dinghy but the anti-poaching team was successful in apprehending one poacher with one Myanmarese dinghy. As per reports the poacher and the dinghy will be taken to PS Hut Bay soon.
Reports suggest that another Anti-Poaching team will now be sent to Jackson Creek and Boomila Creek for combing operation to apprehend remaining poachers, who escaped today.
