Port Blair, October 28: The renowned Social Worker of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. MP Rasheed, who played an important role in helping the needy Islanders with ration articles during the time of the lockdown, has again taken a step forward to support the sanitary workers.
Recently after sighting a few sanitary workers working without proper safety gear, Mr. Rasheed donated around 250 pairs of hand gloves to the Port Blair Municipal Council.
“The sanitary workers are the front line workers, and their safety must be on our topmost priority,” said Mr. Rasheed.
Meanwhile, According to Mr. Rashid, after looking at the gesture of the Social Worker, the Sanitary Wing of PBMC also purchased hundreds of hand gloves and distributed them to the Sanitary Workers. Support of the Social Worker Mr. MP Rasheed was highly appreciated by the Sanitary Workers as well as by the PBMC.
