Port Blair, Sept 11: A person was bitten by a stray dog at Junglighat today. As the person was not from Port Blair, he didn’t know about the location of nearby hospitals and moreover he was not even in a state to afford a cab.
Mr. M.A.Sajid, member of Fight for Islanders Issues and a local social worker helped him to reach hospital and access timely treatment. As per public of recent past, an increase in the number of stray dogs was witnessed in residential areas of Port Blair.
